Tax, registration & B-BBEE
Does being a PBO mean we can issue Section 18A certificates?
Not automatically. Section 18A is a further, separate approval on top of PBO status — SARS has to agree the organisation's specific activities qualify before it may issue certificates letting its donors claim a deduction. This is exactly what HelpLift's own classification tiers track: registered only, PBO approved, or Section 18A capable, each one a real, distinct step, not the same thing said three ways.
This one applies to: I run an organisation.
