Tax, registration & B-BBEE
How do I claim what I gave on my tax?
Ask for a Section 18A certificate when you contribute. It is a certificate that lets you claim a donation as a deduction on your tax return, and you can request one when you give cash or goods to an organisation that qualifies to issue them. You will be asked for a tax reference number, an ID or registration number, and a physical address, because SARS requires all three on the certificate.
This one applies to: I want to help.
